This service is very popular with holidaymakers visiting the area and also residents of the areas we are covering who are from recovering operations etc.

 

Powered Scooters, Powered Wheelchairs and Manual Wheelchairs can be borrowed for up to one month.  There is no need to be a member of the Charity to make use of this facility but, if you are not, a £40 deposit will be required.

 

Equipment can be collected from any of our operating sites or delivered by us to your chosen destination.

 

As this service is very popular, especially during the summer months and Christmas, it is important that you give us as much notice as possible that you would like to book one.

 

We suggest that if you will be visiting the area you contact the hotel, guesthouse etc where you will be staying and check that the accommodation is accessible and that they permit motorised mobility vehicles.

 

All bookings for this service must initially be made by telephone to 01202 661770 as early as possible

Scooters and Power-chairs £50 per week.  Wheelchairs £20  per week.

 

If the equipment is to be delivered, a charge will be made for transport based on distance involved.
